    Hello Peeps

I chatted on Sat with a few of you about the issue I'm having at work at the mo whereby I'm being forced to use Photoshop for web design over (my much loved) Fireworks.

I'm now just going to output psd's from FW, but there we're a few good arguments - any chance of a quick repeat here? Or any other ammunition I could use for fighting my corner?

    A few arguments:

    1. Fireworks compression for Web images is far superior to Photoshop, likely due to Fireworks target audience being towards the Web community over Photoshop's print community.
    2. Pages are built in to FW (CS3) which are obviously more ideal for website designs/wireframes.
    3. Colour correction isn't an issue for outputting Web graphics seeing as screen RGB is the default setting.

That should keep you going for the time-being.

The big one is the matching of tool to mindset. Firework just comes at things from a more webby mindset.

The functionality to distribute an object across frames and only have to edit one instance of it... Actually, I have no idea if you can do this in Photoshop, so that might not be a biggy.
